At Easy Lettings most properties can be secured with just 2 weeks rent as a holding deposit. Full details of what our referencing process requires are listed below. Please note we will NEVER request a cash Holding Deposit at the property.

  • 1st Month rent in advance
  • 1 Month rent as a refundable deposit (Subject to T&C)
  • Payslips for the last 3 months
  • Original bank statements for the last 3 months
  • Letter headed references from your Employer and Landlord
  • Picture I.D (Passport or Drivers Licence)
  • Rent Guarantor form (if applicable)

In order to act as a guarantor we require the following documents:

  • Picture I.D (Passport or Drivers Licence)
  • Proof of ownership of a UK Property

Referencing Process

At Easy Lettings we endeavour to provide our clients with the most suitable tenants for their property, therefore we are committed to carrying out a rigorous referencing process so that we can assure our Landlords that their property is in good hands.

References must be submitted within 3 working days after the Holding Deposit has been paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing by a representative of Easy Lettings Ltd. In order to process your references efficiently please email your references to rentals@easylettingsltd.com.

We will not be able to offer any property without the correct references in place. If you have any trouble in providing the required references please contact us and we will endeavour to help you.

Failure to comply with any of the requirements above could result in your Holding Deposit being forfeited.
